Synopsis "Doraemon" bercerita tentang seekor robot kucing berwarna biru dari abad ke-22 bernama Doraemon, yang dikirim kembali ke masa lalu oleh Sewashi, cicit Nobita. Tujuannya adalah membantu Nobita Nobi, seorang anak SD yang ceroboh, malas belajar, dan sering dibully, agar hidupnya menjadi lebih baik. Doraemon memiliki kantong ajaib (4D Pocket) yang bisa mengeluarkan berbagai alat futuristik, disebut "Gadget Ajaib", untuk membantu Nobita. Namun, alih-alih menyelesaikan masalah, gadget tersebut sering menimbulkan kekacauan karena sifat ceroboh Nobita dan teman-temannya: Shizuka, Gian, dan Suneo. Meski penuh komedi, Doraemon juga menyajikan banyak pesan moral seperti persahabatan, kejujuran, kerja keras, dan pentingnya tanggung jawab.
